Booking from saved quotes

Booking from a Saved Quote is the fastest way to make repeat bookings ...  just two clicks to confirm the booking details and you receive a Booking/Job Number.

Before you start

1.Quotes expire at midnight on the collection date. You cannot access quotes that have expired.

You can set up re-usable bookings without an expiry date/time in MY PROFILE > Saved Bookings > Add Saved Booking.

2.There is no limit to the number of times you can book from a saved quote.

The collection time may change relative to the time that you confirm a booking. If the time changes, it may affect the cost; for example, when the new collection time is outside normal hours.

The booking system applies a minimum delay between confirmation and collection time, as agreed with CitySprint.

3.When you Confirm a quote, you get an opportunity to check the booking details before getting a Booking/Job Number.
4.

Ensure that the first field in the booking screen (in the Sender Details panel) contains data. If it is empty, you cannot confirm the booking.

5.If you are using a new address or credit/payment card, have the details to hand.

Actions

1.Select BOOKING > Booking Options > Book from Saved Quotes.

Click View to check the details of an individual quote.

This displays a summary of the booking - click Close to return to the list of quotes.

2.Choose the quote that you want to book and click Confirm.
3.Check through the details and click Confirm to make the booking or Amend to modify the booking details and then click Next.

4.If this is a credit or debit card account, confirm the card to be used.
If necessary, choose Pay with a different Card:

This popup is displayed if the account requires it. There are two radio buttons at the top:

a)Pay with Saved Card - automatically highlighted if you already saved a card(s) through MY PROFILE > Set Up Sender Details.
i.For additional security, type the card's security number if you have it. An asterisk indicates that it is mandatory.
ii.Click Confirm to use the card for this booking.
b)Pay with a different Card - highlight this if you wish to set up a new card for this booking and complete all fields that are marked with an asterisk (mandatory).
i.Select the Card Type from the dropdown list.

The fields in the popup may vary depending on the type of card. You must fill in all the fields marked with an asterisk.

ii.Fill in the Card No. field. Use digits only and do not include spaces or hyphens in the number.
iii.Some cards require further details such as Issue Date, Expiry Date and Issue Number.
iv.If you need to use the same card in the future, tick the checkbox Save Card to My Profile (the card details are added to the list in MY PROFILE > Set Up Sender Details).
v.Type a street name or number in Building Name/No. and fill in the Billing Postcode field, then click Validate.

Validating an address allows us to confirm the booking and map the address to GPS co-ordinates for our couriers. Entries in your Address Books only have to be validated once.

Occasionally, the system may not be able to validate an address; contact your service centre for assistance.

vi.Once the address is verified, click Confirm to use the card for this booking.
5.        Booking Confirmation page

This page provides you with a unique Booking/Job Number and confirms that the booking has been sent to CitySprint and is active.

Choose any/all of the following:

Save Booking - save all the details of this booking into a "template" which you can re-use as often as necessary.

This booking template is called a Saved Booking and is available from MY PROFILE > View All Bookings menu. The only data that is not saved is the Collection Date/Time and Delivery By Date/Time.

Print Booking - get a printout of this booking (assumes that you have a printer connected to your PC).
New Booking - start a new booking from scratch. Once you click this option, you cannot save or print the existing booking.

A booking can be cancelled before it is allocated to a courier - contact your service centre.
