Booking from a Favourite

Favourites are your top 12 Saved/Other Bookings. If all the booking details are correct, you can pick a Favourite and confirm a booking in just a few clicks.

Before you start

1.Be aware of changes that need to be made to the Favourite booking (if any).

Actions

1.Select BOOKING > Booking Options > New Booking.

The account that is currently selected in the account navigator does not affect booking from a Favourite (if you select a Favourite that is based on a different account, the account navigator is updated accordingly.

2.Find the booking that you want to use in the Favourites carousel.

If you cannot see the button you want and you have more than five Favourites, click the arrowhead to move the carousel.

3.Click the Favourite you require and check all the details are correct.

The system displays the booking screen with all the details that were saved in the Favourite booking and automatically displays the current date.

4.Go to the Collection Details panel and highlight the required radio button, Ready or Pre Book. Modify the Date and Time as necessary.
5.Ensure that the correct delivery date and time are selected.

6.Click Next and check the details provided in the Booking Summary.
7.Click Confirm.
You may need to fill in card payment data.

This popup is displayed if the account requires it. There are two radio buttons at the top:

a)Pay with Saved Card - automatically highlighted if you already saved a card(s) through MY PROFILE > Set Up Sender Details.
i.For additional security, type the card's security number if you have it. An asterisk indicates that it is mandatory.
ii.Click Confirm to use the card for this booking.
b)Pay with a different Card - highlight this if you wish to set up a new card for this booking and complete all fields that are marked with an asterisk (mandatory).
i.Select the Card Type from the dropdown list.

The fields in the popup may vary depending on the type of card. You must fill in all the fields marked with an asterisk.

ii.Fill in the Card No. field. Use digits only and do not include spaces or hyphens in the number.
iii.Some cards require further details such as Issue Date, Expiry Date and Issue Number.
iv.If you need to use the same card in the future, tick the checkbox Save Card to My Profile (the card details are added to the list in MY PROFILE > Set Up Sender Details).
v.Type a street name or number in Building Name/No. and fill in the Billing Postcode field, then click Validate.

Validating an address allows us to confirm the booking and map the address to GPS co-ordinates for our couriers. Entries in your Address Books only have to be validated once.

Occasionally, the system may not be able to validate an address; contact your service centre for assistance.

vi.Once the address is verified, click Confirm to use the card for this booking.
8.        You receive a Booking Confirmation.

This page provides you with a unique Booking/Job Number and confirms that the booking has been sent to CitySprint and is active.

Choose any/all of the following:

Save Booking - save all the details of this booking into a "template" which you can re-use as often as necessary.

This booking template is called a Saved Booking and is available from MY PROFILE > View All Bookings menu. The only data that is not saved is the Collection Date/Time and Delivery By Date/Time.

Print Booking - get a printout of this booking (assumes that you have a printer connected to your PC).
New Booking - start a new booking from scratch. Once you click this option, you cannot save or print the existing booking.

A booking can be cancelled before it is allocated to a courier - contact your service centre.
