Booking from a Saved Booking

A Saved Booking is like a "booking template". You can have as many Saved Bookings as you wish, and re-use them as often as you like.

You can also nominate your top 12 Saved Bookings as Favourites - each one gets a button in the carousel at the top of the Booking screen.

Before you start

1.Saved Bookings contain all the information required to confirm a booking except for the collection and delivery dates/time. They can only be used by the booker who creates them and, unlike Saved Quotes, they do not have an expiry date.

Actions

1.Select MY PROFILE > Saved Bookings >  View All Saved Bookings OR View/Amend Other Bookings.
2.Find the record you need and click Book.
3.Go to the Collection Details panel and highlight the required radio button, Ready or Pre Book. Modify the Date and Time as necessary.
4.Ensure that the correct delivery date and time are selected.

5.Check that all the other details in the Booking screen are correct and make any necessary amendments.

6.        The Booking fields are complete - what next?
a)Click Next.
i.If there are errors in the booking, follow the red text instructions displayed in the Help panel and/or at the top of the Booking screen. Correct the errors and click Next.
ii.If there are no errors in the booking data, the Deliver By date/time will display the earliest delivery (your account settings may permit you to choose a later date/time).

Make changes, if required, and click Next again.

iii.When the booking is correct, a Booking Summary page is displayed for you to check.
7.        Booking Summary screen
a)Check that all the details in the summary are as you expect.
i.Depending on your group/account settings, you may have the option of changing or even upgrading this booking to a different CitySprint service.
ii.If you select an alternative service, you can click Clear Selection to revert back to the original cost and delivery time.
b)If the summary is not correct, go to the bottom of the Booking Summary page and click one of:
New Booking - abandon this booking and start again.
Amend - go back to the Booking screen and modify some of the details.
c)If the summary is correct, go to the bottom of the Booking Summary page and click any/all of the following:
Print Quote - get a printout of this booking summary (assumes that you have a printer connected to your PC).
Save Quote - save this booking as a quotation with a unique ID.

NOTE: Click Close in the popup to continue with the current booking - you can access the quotation later through the MY PROFILE tab.)

Confirm - confirm this booking. You will shortly receive a Booking Confirmation and unique Booking/Job Number by email.
8.        Card Payment popup

This popup is displayed if the account requires it. There are two radio buttons at the top:

a)Pay with Saved Card - automatically highlighted if you already saved a card(s) through MY PROFILE > Set Up Sender Details.
i.For additional security, type the card's security number if you have it. An asterisk indicates that it is mandatory.
ii.Click Confirm to use the card for this booking.
b)Pay with a different Card - highlight this if you wish to set up a new card for this booking and complete all fields that are marked with an asterisk (mandatory).
i.Select the Card Type from the dropdown list.

The fields in the popup may vary depending on the type of card. You must fill in all the fields marked with an asterisk.

ii.Fill in the Card No. field. Use digits only and do not include spaces or hyphens in the number.
iii.Some cards require further details such as Issue Date, Expiry Date and Issue Number.
iv.If you need to use the same card in the future, tick the checkbox Save Card to My Profile (the card details are added to the list in MY PROFILE > Set Up Sender Details).
v.Type a street name or number in Building Name/No. and fill in the Billing Postcode field, then click Validate.

Validating an address allows us to confirm the booking and map the address to GPS co-ordinates for our couriers. Entries in your Address Books only have to be validated once.

Occasionally, the system may not be able to validate an address; contact your service centre for assistance.

vi.Once the address is verified, click Confirm to use the card for this booking.
9.        Booking Confirmation screen

This page provides you with a unique Booking/Job Number and confirms that the booking has been sent to CitySprint and is active.

Choose any/all of the following:

Save Booking - save all the details of this booking into a "template" which you can re-use as often as necessary.

This booking template is called a Saved Booking and is available from MY PROFILE > View All Bookings menu. The only data that is not saved is the Collection Date/Time and Delivery By Date/Time.

Print Booking - get a printout of this booking (assumes that you have a printer connected to your PC).
New Booking - start a new booking from scratch. Once you click this option, you cannot save or print the existing booking.

A booking can be cancelled before it is allocated to a courier - contact your service centre.
