Administrators' overview > Procedure topic Blocking/Enabling groups |
Blocking is a useful temporary measure, for example, when organisational changes affect the setup of admin/user groups.
Someone whose ID is blocked cannot log onto the system. Their incomplete bookings can only be accessed by other members of the same group. If the whole group is blocked, their incomplete bookings cannot be confirmed or tracked for the duration.
Before you start
| 1. | You must be logged in as an administrator with permissions to amend the group. |
You can only block/enable user and admin groups which were created by yourself or another administrator in your admin group.
| 2. | Prior to blocking/enabling a group, we recommend that you send an email to inform all the affected users/administrators that their access to SameDay online will be disabled from a given date and the reasons why. If possible, set expectations so that bookings can be made and confirmed before access is disabled. |
Actions
