User ID not recognised
When an administrator/user is first assigned to a group, the individual receives an email notification with a system-generated password. The individual has to register with the system by logging in using this password and setting up a new password of their choice. The system confirms successful registration by sending the individual a welcome email.
The individual user (login ID) will not be recognised by the system if:
| • | they are not assigned to a group. |
| • | they have not completed the registration process. |
Incorrect password at login
All administrators/users have to log into the system using the correct password in three attempts. If they do not succeed, their login ID is temporarily disabled and they have to click Forgot Password to reset their login. The administrator is not informed unless the individual takes steps to do so. The new password is sent to the individual's email address.
Unable to answer security questions correctly
Some accounts have security questions associated with the Booking screen. Users of these accounts have to answer all the security questions correctly within three attempts in order to access the account and make bookings. If they make three errors, the system disables the individual's login ID and sends a notification to the administrator who needs to access the individual's details and Enable the login ID.
Administrator cannot amend an individual user/administrator
Once an individual is assigned to a user or admin group A, they can be modified/removed by any administrator who has admin permissions for group A ... that is, anyone who belongs to the same admin group as the person who created group A.
I cannot log into the SameDay online booking system
An individual who is removed from a group is placed into a resource pool and can be assigned to any group by any client administrator. If you are in the resource pool, you still have a SameDay email ID but you cannot log into the system until you are assigned to a group. This prompts the system to send you a new system-generated password. You will have to re-register your details with the system and set up your preferred password.
Deleted user/administrators do not receive any notification that their user ID has been disabled - if someone tries to log in using the deleted email ID the system does not recognise it and judges the email ID to be non-existent.
