Service/vehicle options

Every Booking screen has Service Details. Group settings determine the Service Details that are displayed in the Booking screen for each account.

Service options normally include at least one type of vehicle. However, the actual vehicle that is offered for the booking is determined by the various job details such as the number and type of items to be transported and the locations. For example, pushbikes are unlikely to be used for long journeys or inter-urban bookings.

Amending service options

Every group inherits one or more service/vehicle options.

Using the View/Amend ... Group menus, the group's administrator(s) can reduce (but not add to) the number of service/vehicle options available to bookers.

Other service options

Depending on the client and group settings, different levels of priority services may be available. Using the View/Amend ... Group menus, the group's administrator(s) can retain or reduce these options.

For example, a booker makes an initial selection like SameDay Courier - Small Van and completes the other booking fields. The Booking Summary page displays additional service options, if any, and the booker is able to select an enhanced service as required.
