Key facts
| • | Every client has a number. Default settings and client-wide contractual customisations are applied at the client number level and cascaded down to accounts as default account settings. |
| • | In order to make bookings against an account, the account has to be associated with one or more groups. |
| • | Group settings define how an account may be used by everyone who is assigned to the group. |
| • | Administrators can give a single account that is associated with several groups different settings in each group. They can also define distinct settings for each of the various accounts within a group. |
| • | Every person who needs to access the SameDay online system has to be assigned to either a user group or an admin group. |
| • | Members of admin groups can add people to the system, create more groups and do other administration tasks. They can also optionally make bookings and generate usage reports. |
| • | User groups can make bookings and generate reports to the extent defined by the group settings. |
