Key facts

Every client has a number. Default settings and client-wide contractual customisations are applied at the client number level and cascaded down to accounts as default account settings.
In order to make bookings against an account, the account has to be associated with one or more groups.
Group settings define how an account may be used by everyone who is assigned to the group.
Administrators can give a single account that is associated with several groups different settings in each group. They can also define distinct settings for each of the various accounts within a group.
Every person who needs to access the SameDay online system has to be assigned to either a user group or an admin group.
Members of admin groups can add people to the system, create more groups and do other administration tasks. They can also optionally make bookings and generate usage reports.
User groups can make bookings and generate reports to the extent defined by the group settings.
